Christian Senior Citizens Homes Society
In 1968, the Christian Senior Citizens Homes Society of Northern Alberta ("the Society") was registered as a charitable non-profit society under Alberta's Society Act legislation. So began the dream to provide quality living accomodations and care to the seniors in our Christian community - all under the guiding principles captured in the name Emmanuel, "God with us".
The Society is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of between five and 15 members, who meet as board once per month. The Society meets formally twice each year: in April and in November.
Society members pay annual dues of $20 per person or $30 per couple. Currently, the Society boasts approximately 1,000 members.
